01 · What JIN means by Qimen
Qi Men Dun Jia is a classical Chinese system that organises symbolic patterns through a nine-palace chart. JIN uses this framework to help you reflect on natural tendencies, current priorities and the kind of support that may be useful to you now.
We do not position Qimen as a guarantee of luck, wealth, relationships, health or any other outcome. The value of the JIN Qimen experience is in personal reflection, direction and intentional action.
Methodology
JIN's proprietary Qimen engine calculates each chart from your birth information using a consistent methodology grounded in classical Qi Men Dun Jia principles. Our element-matching approach was developed in consultation with Mù Xī, a Qimen advisor trained under a teacher with more than 20 years of experience.

A private starting point
The Compass is a concise personal direction tool. It does not predict outcomes or replace your judgement. It gives you a considered starting point for choosing an Element piece — or for deciding that an Intention piece feels more relevant now.

Enter your full date of birth and birth time, then tell us what area matters most to you right now. The Compass does not ask for your name, email or location. We ask for gender only so JIN can recommend the appropriate design where relevant.
Don’t know your exact birth time? That’s okay. You can use your best estimate within the closest two-hour window — for example, 9am–11am or 11am–1pm. You do not need to know the exact minute to continue.

The Compass translates your personal profile into a concise view of how you operate, what may support you now and the energy that can support your next move.

Your Compass shows your selected focus area, a relevant crystal direction, a practical 30-day action and a JIN recommendation.

You can explore the Element Collection piece aligned to your Compass result, or choose directly from the Intention Collection if you already know what you want to work on.
03 · Element and Intention
JIN offers two ways to choose. The Element Collection begins with your Qimen profile and what naturally supports you. The Intention Collection begins with what you are choosing to work on right now.
You do not need to match your Element to choose an Intention piece. Both routes are part of the same JIN philosophy: greater awareness, clearer direction and a meaningful daily anchor.

Your Compass uses your Qimen result to guide the Element Collection. Gender does not change your Qimen calculation; it is used only so JIN can recommend the correct male or female SKU where an Element has gender-specific designs.

05 · Compass and Blueprint
The Compass
The JIN Qimen Compass is designed for immediate, practical direction. It combines your personal Qimen profile with what matters to you now, then translates the result into clear guidance, a supporting direction and a relevant JIN recommendation.
The Blueprint
After your order is confirmed, JIN sends an order-confirmation email first. A second email then asks for the birth details needed to prepare your full Personal Qimen Blueprint. The Blueprint takes you beyond the Compass into a deeper reading of your natal Qimen chart and the patterns expressed across key areas of life.

Your Personal Qimen Blueprint is based on your natal Qimen profile. It is the same complete reading regardless of which JIN bracelet you purchase. We do not rewrite your chart to fit the product or intention you selected.
Your Blueprint is designed to turn a complex natal chart into a structured, readable personal reference. Depending on your chart, it brings together the following areas:

Privacy and methodology
Your birth date, birth time, chosen focus and gender are used to prepare your JIN Qimen experience. The Compass does not ask for your name, email or location. Gender appears only in the form guidance: it helps choose an appropriate male or female Element SKU where one exists, and does not change the Personal Qimen reading. After your order is confirmed, JIN sends an order-confirmation email first, followed by a second email that requests the birth details needed to prepare your Blueprint.
